February 3, 2007

Good morning! The world awaits your presence today; it likes to devour poor lost sheep. “All we like sheep have gone astray.” When Jesus finds us we become filled with light and joy; the good shepherd leads us gently into his fold. However, like the poor, dumb sheeps, we sometimes will look away from our Lord and then wonder why he has left us. If at those moments you could stand outside of yourself, you would see Jesus standing with you as he always does, but you would see yourself looking in the wrong direction! In the times of tribulation, it may seem that Jesus has left us for a time, but that never happens; Jesus is the faithful and true witness, the Good Shepherd, and the Light of the world. It may seem simplistic, but when it seems that Jesus has left you, turn around. Jesus will not gaze into the darkness with you for he has already conquered the darkness. He wants us to look on the light, which is to look upon himself, our Lord and Savior. Look on the Light; be filled with Joy, and shine that light out into the world of darkness.

God bless you!
