Changes In The World?

In his wisdom, the LORD will send great disaster;
he will not change his mind.
He will rise against the wicked
and against their helpers.  Isaiah 31:2

On Sunday morning, I joined the church service when the live event posted to Facebook and shortly my mother joined us from her home which is hundreds of miles away from our little town. Yes, Sunday morning services are changed somewhat from just a short time ago. We had a virtual turnout of 15 on the event at one point, which is the most I have seen thus far. Great changes have swept the world, but are they permanent? Is this but a test from the Lord which will soon be completed and things ease back toward what we have become used to doing? Wisely, I think,  many have said that there will not be a return to what we did and where we were before this began earlier this year. Those changes are not all bad. Many churches did not consider an event broadcast of their services each Sunday and are now doing so. I look forward to many live Christmas services this year that would have been resisted by many last year for various reasons. What was the province of the megachurches with their access to professional level personnel and equipment has become commonplace in the small churches using what they have and putting the good news of Jesus Christ out there for all.

Praise the Lord,

Bucky
