Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. John 16:22
These disciples would see Jesus again quite soon, but does this promise continue for now as we await our Lord's return? Our Lord returned also in the form of His Holy Spirit. Therefore we have reason to rejoice right now too. In Philippians, Paul called us to rejoice in the Lord always. So, don't leave your joy behind when you go to work, to worship, to learn, or wherever you may need to go in this life.
We have joy in the Lord Jesus!
