The Lord Does Valiantly

The voice of rejoicing and salvation
Is in the tents of the righteous;
The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
  -- Psalm 118:15

He endured some tough times, but I delighted in his company every time we met. At the end of last week, our Lord called him home. This morning as I searched for just the right verse to memorialize this delightful man, this one from the psalms seemed the verse for Brent. The man was one of our Lord's sheep and his company showed it.

And so we come to that in-between place where we are sad to miss his company, and yet glad that our Lord Jesus keeps him for us. Now comes the time when all those who believe in Jesus look forward with eager anticipation to our reunion with Jesus and all those who have gone before us.

Comfort ye my people said the Lord by His prophet,
