Blessed Hope

...looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, Titus 2:13

Of course Paul didn't do it, the translators of the NKJV made those mondo-large, mega-comma, run-on sentences, until it seems that there is no way to cut out a little phrase, or a clause, or maybe what could be a sentence, from the paragraph, or entire chapter, of the river of words coming at us from the times of old. In the middle of one of these is this activity we are doing right now: looking for that blessed hope and return of our Lord Jesus. Not sure what your job is in the kingdom of believers in Jesus? Start right there with that one. It takes great faith to look for and wait for the return of one who has been ascended from this Earth for so long. We may hear the words of the Lord on the Internet, a television program, or a sermon on the radio, but He has not returned just yet. He assured us that we will know without doubt when He returns. We have our blessed hope in Him!
