Good Morning and Merry Christmas! Love the sinner and not the sin. The media brings us tales of sin every moment in print, video, and web pages. The quickest way to get your name in the paper is to commit some terrible sin. The world will name it something else since “sin” is something the world does not feel comfortable pointing out. Do you feel hated by the world? Perhaps at the present time you do not, but be rest assured that just as the world hated Jesus first, it hates you now. God will not allow that hatred to become more than we can handle at our current state of Christian growth. You may not perceive the hatred yet, but it is there. I read a call this weekend, a call for Christian actors, directors, producers and writers to come to Hollywood. If you have considered this and feel that call, we will pray for you in that very difficult place. That place, Hollywood, brings us back to loving the sinner and not the sin. There is no more influential place on earth than Hollywood. Countries who want nothing to do with us as a people, still watch the movies that come from Hollywood. Much of the perception of Americans has come from those movies and the perception is not very good. Pray that we can start changing that influence to the Good News of Jesus Christ!
