Well Prepared

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” Mark 16:6-7

He had told them, and still they struggled to believe the Lord's messenger. But how difficult might it have been without seeing Lazarus raised up from a similar tomb after a similar time lying there in the cold, cold ground? How much easier may it be for us to see Jesus coming in the clouds of His glory with the witness of His resurrection by these women and the disciples? We have been prepared, much as they were, to receive Jesus once again when His time arrives. Be ready!

Love and grace to you in Christ our Lord,

Bucky
